TSLA is commonly referred to as a car company and that is reasonable because they have made the majority of their money from their cars up to this point in the company’s history. I believe this is a very limited viewpoint. I think of Tesla as a battery company and I believe there is an almost unlimited amount of value that they can provide in this area for both residential and utility grid batteries. I haven’t really considered the robotaxi concept, but that also seems like a pretty big market. This might be a better money printing business than selling cars.
